Senior Full Stack Developer

A career as a senior full stack developer in the Wealth Management IT Delivery team at National Bank means acting as an expert in cloud development. Your advanced knowledge of new technologies will allow you to contribute to the application development of APIs maintained by our team, and to set up, maintain, and evolve our cloud infrastructure. This role allows you to make a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in API development, infrastructure management, and DevOps practices.


Your role

  • Take charge of the team’s DevOps activities (CI/CD, monitoring, security, automation)
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the cloud infrastructure required for application projects
  • Ensure the maintenance and evolution of the APIs supported by the team
  • Set up robust, scalable, and user-friendly development and production environments
  • Collaborate closely with developers to anticipate their infrastructure needs and simplify their daily work
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of production systems


Your team

The IT and Operations sector includes over 5,500 specialists working in an agile, proactive, and collaborative way to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of technology, and continuously improve processes.

Within the Wealth Management sector, you’ll be part of a large team of 19 colleagues and report to the manager of the internal development and maintenance team for the Manufacture and Retail Train. Our team stands out for its maturity, experience, and deep knowledge of the business sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related diploma in computer science or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT as a developer
  • Experience in a banking environment (asset)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of Java, RESTful APIs, and SQL
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker)


Required languages

French required. English is an asset.
