Your impact
It takes a great team to deliver the environmental projects that clean up our communities and improve our natural resources, and that includes those who coordinate travel and equipment for field workers to the field. We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to work with a team supporting travel coordination for field staff and tracking field resources while following Jacobs and client policies. You’ll apply your strong communication skills as you work with customers to resolve issues and problems.
Based in Western Canada, you will support various field programs by helping with administrative tasks including document control, data entry, filing and clerical tasks related maintaining health and safety policies and procedures at Jacobs. This role will also include organizing the necessary training and PPE prior to employees heading to client sites. You will also be supporting our expense team with submitting staff expenses for travel conducted on company business.

The base salary range for this position is $43,200.00 to $65,340.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- The ideal candidate will be supporting our HSE team with setting up training, etc. and supporting our expense team with field expenses during our busy field season. This candidate will be supporting our team across North America and will need to be flexible with their schedule as a result of supporting various time zones. This position can be based out of one of our western Canada offices (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, or Prince George); however, alternate locations may be considered based on the individual application. The position includes evening and weekend support, with work being performed on an as-needed basis

- High School Diploma
- Highly organized and detail orientated
- Accurate record keeping and strong time management skills
- Experience with MS Office Suite with expert excel skills
- English - Fluent written and verbal (Required)
- Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
- Investigation and troubleshooting techniques
- Basic understanding of accounting processes
