Job Description
They have an exciting opportunity for a legal administrative assistant in their Family Law department. This position requires a well-organized individual with excellent communication skills, both written and oral, common sense, initiative, and the ability to pay strict attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Assist lawyers in managing family law cases, including divorce, parenting time and parenting responsibilities, and spousal support.
Prepare legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and pleadings.
Manage client communication and case files.
Coordinate scheduling for court dates, client meetings, and deadlines.
File and organize documents electronically.
Handle administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence and managing case calendars.
Qualifications
Prefer at least 2 years of experience working in a family law department.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
