Your day to day
As a Sales Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for our event and group clients:
- Respond to incoming inquiries (emails, walk-ins, phone calls) and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Conduct prospecting
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and BEOs, ensuring deposit and final payment deadlines are met
- Understand client needs and offer the best solutions (venues, menus, additional services)
- Coordinate all aspects of events (floor plans, billing, etc.)
- Work closely with hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle sales of individual and group rooms, manage room blocks, and achieve revenue targets
- Be present on-site during events and group stays, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
What we expect from you:
- Previous experience in group, meeting, or event coordination in a hotel or sales environment
- Passion for outstanding guest experiences
- Confidence in proactively preventing issues and handling service recovery when necessary
- Desire to work in a dynamic, motivated team and grow professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding administrative and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and collaborate
- Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken
- Negotiation skills and results-oriented mindset
- Must hold a valid work permit to work in Canada.
