This position will be responsible for cataloguing our “high end” items such as cell phones, gaming systems, tablets, computers, headphones, monitors, televisions, drones, bluetooth devices such as robotic vacuums, speakers, accessory items, etc. You will be responsible to catalogue the products for upcoming auctions by testing the functionality of each items - is the phone locked, does it power on/off, connectivity to wi-fi and bluetooth, are there any defects with the product? Performing factory resets on products, ensuring gaming systems are operational, completing condition reports that are accurate and detailed to maximize bids from our client base. Working with customized cataloguing software programs, you will maintain a steady pace of opening, testing, cataloguing and repacking the products for resale.
The successful candidate will be very comfortable navigating their way through a variety of systems and will possess an above average understanding of how technology works. They possess an intrinsic need to always give their employer their best performance, their attention to detail is keen and are a focused individual who can get the job done to meet their daily targets.

- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnosing and testing technical issues related to high valued technology products
- System Maintenance and Optimization: Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of cataloguing high valued merchandise and meeting your quota lot performance.
- Staying Up-to-Date: Keeping abreast of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in their area of expertise.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of specific technologies, systems such as Mac, Windows paced devices, android and apple devices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively report technical product conditions using our cataloguing software
- Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with end users and clients by accurately cataloging lots in each auction
- Adaptability: Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing situations
Education and Experience
- OSSD or GED is required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in technical hardware systems is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a respectful manner with a diverse community of staff, vendors and customers
- Must speak, read and write English at an Intermediate Level (B1/B2)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to employ a consultative and collaborative approach to addressing issues and making decisions, this candidate is resourceful and can act swiftly when issues need a solution
- Intermediate computer skills with a strong comfort level to learn our software systems
- Note: Candidates invited for an in-person interview will be tested on their hardware knowledge.
