WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Coordinator, R&D - Global to join our Scientific team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be based out of our Head Office located in Liberty Village, and will require candidates to work 5-days a week on-site.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

• Responsible for R&D administrative tasks and supply chain management to ensure all the required resources and services are available for R&D work.
• Organize and manage Lab Inventory (raw materials, packaging materials (components), equipment, lab supplies, competitor products, production bulks, finished goods etc.)
• Create SAM# for new raw materials on COPTIS from suppliers/vendors/manufactures and regularly update the lead time, cost and MOQ`s.
• Manage electronic raw material documentation from the suppliers and regularly update Regulatory department.
• Communicate with suppliers for sample requests and technical material inquiries.
• Track all the projects of the chemists by maintaining a schedule and weekly meeting updates.
• Coordinate Bulks, components and Finished goods requests from our ES/Castle view facility.
• Track KPIs for raw materials, competitor products, and supplier meetings for quarterly updates.
• Coordinate and arrange internal and external raw material requests from the R&D department and other departments.
• Create PO`s for all the raw materials requested from suppliers/vendors/manufacturers and for lab related purchases.
  
  

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Relevant work in an administrative environment
• A degree or diploma in Science is an asset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email, internet
• Experience in Coptis is an asset
• Flexible and willing to accept new tasks, learn and apply new skills
