WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Associate, Regulatory Affairs - Material Documentation Management, Compliance & Stewardship - Global to join our Scientific team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be based out of our head office located in Liberty Village and offers a hybrid work schedule of 2-days a week in-office and 3-days a week work-from-home.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Associate, Regulatory Affairs - Material Documentation Management, Compliance & Stewardship - Global to join our Scientific team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be based out of our head office located in Liberty Village and offers a hybrid work schedule of 2-days a week in-office and 3-days a week work-from-home.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Manage the documentation component of product development work.
- Request, vet, and organize documents from vendors.
- Create, review, and validate ingredient lists and Generate SOPs for regulatory procedures.
- Ensure all raw material and packaging documents are current and meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage documentation to support product claims.
- Develop and implement tracking tools and master spreadsheets to manage raw material and packaging information, to ensure information is accurate and consistent, and projects are on track.
- Support the Regulatory team in the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the product life cycle management (PLM) system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and quality management system (QMS).
- Support brand initiatives such cruelty-free and vegan certification. Support sustainability initiatives. Support packaging extended producer responsibilities. Support retailer inquiries and campaigns.
- Prepare responses for customer inquiries for senior management review.
- Develop and maintain tracking tool for information sourced for responses.
- Understanding of cosmetic databases such as INCI, PCPC and CosIng.
- Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and QMS applications used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or related industry.
- Relevant education in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
