What You’ll Do:
As a Safety Advisor, you’ll support multiple clients with audits, inspections, investigations, documentation, training, and reporting. You’ll work independently, collaboratively, and always with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct worksite inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments
Manage multiple client safety programs with clarity and detail
Apply and interpret Alberta OHS legislation and COR/SECOR frameworks
Track and document tasks by client in 15-minute intervals (time management is critical)
Prepare and deliver safety meetings and training sessions (office and field staff)
Lead or support incident investigations and WCB claims
Maintain, review, and develop OHS documentation
Participate in internal/external COR audits; serve as primary audit contact as needed
Use and update contractor platforms: ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks
Collaborate using Safety and other Computer apps and tools
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
NCSO, CRSP, CHSC, or OHS diploma strongly preferred
3–5 years of direct field experience in occupational health and safety
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and solid Excel skills
Exceptional attention to detail, time tracking, and multi-client task-switching
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing or contributing to COR audits, investigations, and compliance tracking
