Description

  • Lead or support cost estimating efforts on large-scale civil, rail, and structural projects

  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, procurement scopes, and vendor evaluations

  • Analyze design documents and perform accurate quantity takeoffs

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure complete and competitive bids

  • Participate in risk assessments, bid reviews, and handover to project execution teams

  • Assist with clarifications, bonding/insurance requirements, and bid documentation

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction estimating, ideally on large-scale or design-build projects

  • In-depth knowledge of project delivery models (Design-Build, Lump Sum, GMP, Unit Price, etc.)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess constructability and identify cost risks

  • Experienced in subcontractor negotiations, procurement strategies, and pricing reviews

  • Proficiency with estimating software such as Hard Dollar (or equivalent)
