Summary


We are looking for a kind and experienced nutritionist to join our team and help customers reach their best health by providing individualized dietary advice. In this role, you will lead comprehensive nutritional assessments, design personalized wellness plans, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary providers to enhance our members’ access to nutrition, education, and overall wellness.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Examine clients' medical histories, activity levels, sleep patterns, and eating habits to provide a comprehensive picture of their nutritional needs.
  • Inform clients about how diet affects health by offering advice based on research and useful suggestions.
  • Create and implement individualized nutrition regimens based on dietary requirements, medical circumstances, and personal objectives.
  • To guarantee goal achievement and adherence, provide clients with continuing nutrition counseling and behavior-change assistance.
  • Monitor and record client progress, making necessary adjustments to plans and keeping thorough, private records.
  • Create and deliver educational materials about nutrition, such as webinars, bulletins, and brochures.
  • To guarantee integrated patient care, work together with doctors, nurse practitioners, and other allied health specialists.
  • By engaging in professional development and continuing education, stay up to date on the most recent findings and trends.
  • Comply with public health and safety regulations in BC


Qualifications/Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Science is an asset
  • Health Coach certification or relevant training is considered an asset, but not a requirement
  • Minimum 1–3 years of clinical or community nutrition experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian Food Guide and Health Canada regulations


Skills:


  • Proficiency in electronic medical records management for efficient documentation and tracking of client information.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and enhance their experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and nutritional software is an asset

Job Type: Full-Time, In Person

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: $63,200 – $76,500 per year
