Tru Earth is looking for a Mixer Operator Jr to join our team for our Day Shift 7am-3:30pm and afternoon from 3pm-11:30pm in Mississauga!
(Shifts may start on a biweekly rotation in January based on Production Demand)

The Mixer Operator Jr is accountable for setting up, maintaining, and operating equipment. They ensure the equipment runs smoothly, operates at capacity without issues, and is appropriately maintained on schedule. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager. The duties and tasks of the Mixer Operator Jr dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them; they must remain focused and diligent in performing tasks correctly and with care.

Main Job Tasks, & Duties
- Set up and operate mixing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Follow recipes accurately and monitor mixing processes for quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues during shifts.
- Maintain records of production, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment safety.
- Report any safety hazards promptly.
Safety
- Follow a safety-first culture.
- Proper use of PPE.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area.
Education and Experience
- Proven experience as a Mixer Operator.
- Working knowledge of mixing equipment to properly mix ingredients.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is an asset.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Passionate about the environment and sustainable living.
- Full grasp of production procedures.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear).
- Critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and strength – ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.

Pay: $20.82-$23.00 per hour
