The Membership Engagement Specialist at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club and The Glencoe Club is a key player in enhancing member relationships and enhancing overall engagement. This dynamic role involves driving membership recruitment, managing waitlists, and onboarding, while collaborating with multiple departments to tailor events and experiences that exceed expectations. The Membership Engagement Specialist oversees social media presence, develops promotional materials, and maintains membership databases to support seamless operations. By delivering exceptional service and continuously improving engagement strategies, this role is integral to strengthening the Club’s membership offerings and experience.
Responsibilities
This is a Full Time salaried position that reports to the Membership Manager. The successful candidate will primarily work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm but will be required to work other shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays, so a flexible schedule is required. This position will predominantly work at The Glencoe Golf and Country Club during the Golf Season but will also be required to work from The Glencoe Club.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a background check as well as Respect in the Workplace and Respect in Sport online certifications prior to commencing employment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance member experiences, manage recruitment efforts, oversee waitlists, and support onboarding to foster long-term engagement
- Create and coordinate membership-related materials, manage social media platforms in collaboration with the Creative Director, and develop engaging content to keep members informed and involved
- Support member events, including high-profile tournaments and social gatherings, collaborate with Food & Beverage teams, and develop initiatives to surprise and delight members
- Oversee membership inquiries, maintain accurate data records, and support the administration of high-performance programs and reciprocal club relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure seamless coordination of membership initiatives, events, and engagement programs
- Gather and analyze member feedback to refine programs, improve services, and ensure the Club remains a premier destination for its members
- 3-5 years proven experience in membership engagement, sales, or customer relations, preferably in the hospitality, golf, or private club industry
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in hospitality, sport administration or related field is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across numerous departments and build lasting relationships with both prospective and current members
- Proficiency with social media platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing tools
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to implement new ideas and strategies
- Knowledge of membership database management and administrative processes, experience with Northstar is an asset
