Technical Test Lead

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Test Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga/ Toronto, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :

• At least 4 years hands on experience in test automation tools Selenium, Java, Cucumber & SQL.
• Overall 5+ years with Test Automation experience who can be hands on and guide the offshore.
• 2+ years of proven hands-on in Playwright, Karate API & UI Automation.
• Experience with tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, IntelliJ, GitHub and Eclipse
• Knowledge and experience working in an CICD pipeline environment.
• Must be Proficient in Agile methodology and experience with Jira, designing Testcases, Test Execution as well as experience documenting software defects.
• Maintain automated test scripts libraries for Functional, Regression testing.
• Experience in designing and building test automation framework.
• At least 4 years of experience in leading testing team taking complete ownership of deliverables.
• Experience in Test Deliveries in an onsite offshore model.
• Experience in creating Automation Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and liaison with business teams to support UAT testing.
• Good knowledge of Financial Services domain and business functional processes
• At least 4 years of experience on Automation Testing (SIT and UAT), test execution analysis & reporting
• Thorough understanding of test automation, UI/Backend test automation concepts
• Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Abilities in Test Strategizing, planning and co-ordination.
• Ability to contribute towards in depth technical content required on test automation proposals.
• Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 82804 to $ 115491
