What You’ll Like About This Job

OEM Remanufacturing is hiring Powertrain Component Testers in Edmonton to perform high-level diagnostics and testing of Caterpillar powertrain systems. This is a unionized, weekend shift opportunity ideal for certified journeypersons with strong mechanical and hydraulic expertise. The role offers excellent pay and the chance to work in one of North America's top remanufacturing facilities.

What You’ll Need

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or Red Seal certification
• Experience with CAT powertrain systems and diagnostics
• Comfort using CAT ET, TMI, and related diagnostic tools
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and wear a respirator as needed
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to work a static weekend shift and complete weekday training
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience operating dynos or test benches
• Background in service bay or advanced powertrain assembly roles
• Familiarity with 3-Star Contamination Control Standards
• Strong computer literacy and technical report writing
