In this role, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to design and deliver meaningful, learner-centered training solutions. Our team combines adult learning principles, instructional design and technical writing with web and graphic technology to develop solutions for talent development.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to design and deliver meaningful, learner-centered training solutions. Our team combines adult learning principles, instructional design and technical writing with web and graphic technology to develop solutions for talent development.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning activities and compelling course content
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions to support learning outcomes and engagement
- Work with subject matter experts to complete quality learning programs for self-paced and virtual deliveries. This may include development of needs assessments, learning objectives, course outlines, and content (e.g. eLearning storyboards, PowerPoint presentations, participant/facilitator guides, and learning manuals)
- Develop and execute different modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure effectiveness and evaluate learning outcomes
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and functionality
- Develop user guides, quick reference guides, and job aids
- Record and edit instructional videos and tutorials to support talent development
- Provide virtual classroom support in Microsoft Teams or other virtual learning or meeting platforms
- Edit documents in accordance with established style guidelines
- Ability to design and develop eLearning and instructor-led training materials for adult learners
- Ability to analyze learning aims and objectives to design training solutions
- Expert proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, specifically Articulate 360
- Visual design skills to produce a variety of graphic, animation, audio-visual, simulation and script design and layout work for eLearning
- Experience facilitating training in various modalities
- Experience with the Web environment (e.g., HTML, Javascript)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Ability to quickly learn new software programs
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and editing
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Experience with SuccessFactors would be an asset
- Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher education with specialization in Adult Education, Business, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in learning and instructional design.
