We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

Hybrid role, on-site requirement 3 days/week

Location - 165 Galaxy Blvd., Toronto ON (Pearson Airport Area)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, this role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, health and safety, training, and general HR administration.

You’ll play a key role in attracting top talent, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, administering training programs, and supporting overall HR operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of a new onboarding process, including pre-boarding, orientation, training and ongoing support.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives, through social media management and external partnerships (job fairs, campus recruitment, association relationships and other talent attraction activities).
  • As an active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee, monitor occupational health and safety programs and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Administer training programs and the learning management system; maintain employee training records.
  • Define, track and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across HR functions.
  • HRIS implementation, maintenance and support (ADP Workforce Now and Workday)
  • Provide general HR support and participate in various HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or post-secondary degree/certificate in Human Resources Management
  • Three to five years of HR Coordinator or Generalist experience within a corporate HR environment required .
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare / pharmaceutical / other highly regulated field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian legislation (Employment Standards, AODA, OHS, etc.)
  • CHRP designation is an asset
  • Prior experience with an HRIS (preferably ADP Workforce Now and/or Workday) is required
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office. Advanced knowledge in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, V- look-ups ).
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
  • Above average skills in critical thinking, decision making, writing, finding information, document organization and effective use of memory
