Senior Apigee Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Apigee Developer who will play a key role in designing and implementing powerful solutions using Google Cloud Platform and Apigee technology. You will use your expertise in cloud infrastructure and security protocols to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

In this role, you will

• Building, deploying, and managing API proxies, including request/response flows, policies, and error handling.
• Implement robust security protocols including OAuth and JSON Web Token to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure by configuring Google Firewalls and Apigee Edge to enhance network security and data protection.
• Implementing authentication (OAuth/OKTA, API keys), authorization, and protection against threats (OWASP)
• Use Apigee Developer Portal to facilitate API management and streamline developer onboarding processes.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Apigee API management, including hybrid and SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in API design (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and OAuth.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and inter personal skills.
