What you will do
As an Associate Sales Representative, you will support the Sales Representative as they plan, direct, and coordinate the selling of Stryker products (specifically Stryker's Neurosurgical and ENT portfolios) to physicians and to obtain maximum profitability and volume. This individual must serve as a contributing member of the Instruments sales team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.
- Collaborate with and provide support to the Sales Representative to drive sales and achieve quotas.
- Develop and utilize a deep understanding of products, customers, and their needs to improve patient outcomes and increase sales and market share.
Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products
Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
- Actively participate in national, regional, and local trade shows.
Keeps Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representatives informed of territory progress on a regular basis
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication, management of delivery dates, problem-solving through a consultative approach, in-service training, and coordination of product repairs.
Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
Understands and adheres to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
Rigidly adheres to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA
Recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
What you need
Required:
University Degree
1+ years in an outside sales position
Preferred:
Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
1+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales
Additional Information:
Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
Must have a valid driver’s license
