We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join the A220 commercial aircraft program’s PréFAL team, supporting data-driven decision-making in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This hybrid role focuses on both technical data analysis and business translation, serving as a bridge between business users and the data team.

The successful candidate will be hands-on in daily operations near the aircraft assembly line in Mirabel (QC), while also participating in strategic analytics projects across functions like production, quality, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize KPI systems and dashboards to monitor team performance
  • Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and translate requirements into technical documentation
  • Perform data analysis and profiling to identify trends, opportunities, and performance issues
  • Assist in data validation and quality assurance processes
  • Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, engineering, and support teams
  • Identify and drive opportunities to expand data usage and improve decision-making through analytics

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in a data-focused role (internships, academic projects acceptable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL
  • Effective communicator with ability to explain data insights to non-technical teams
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of French (fluency not required)

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data lifecycle, or manufacturing ERP systems
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma principles

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
