Description
The Fixed Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees involved with the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, servicing and cleaning of fixed facilities equipment and other related pieces of equipment. Will also perform regular Building, Structure, Stops Technician tasks a portion of the time.

Knowledge And Skills
- Knowledge of building design, maintenance, and other relevant building functions .
- Good knowledge of building asset management; evaluates current building performance and proposes appropriate changes to plans and procedures.
- Ability to supervise, motivate and train a maintenance team
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with internal and external customers
- Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
- Strong analytical ability to diagnose and resolve practical issues
- Able to read and understand schematics, operations, service and safety manuals
- Strong attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
- Self-starter to anticipate and resolve needs and requirements
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining safety and quality
- Strong manual dexterity to use various hand tools and equipment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Able to work in all weather conditions if required
- Facilities Management or other building credentials, an asset
- Trade license an asset
- Diploma or Trade in electrical or mechanical technologies, or equivalent experience
- Building maintenance experience
- Leadership experience supervising a Maintenance team
- Experience in industrial or transportation industry preferred
- Experience in electrical and mechanical
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of buildings, preferred
- Experience in writing maintenance procedures and work instructions
- Experience in managing work order system, preferred
- Maximo Experience an asset
- DZ license an asset
- Plan, schedule, assign, monitor, train and develop maintenance Fixed Facilities team and to achieve Keolis and Maintenance objectives.
- Ensure team meets safety, quality and customer service standards.
- Identify and respond to safety hazards/concerns and support respective JHSC.
- Attend daily maintenance production meetings to ensure maintenance, inspection and cleaning complies with established standards.
- Participate in professional development as required.
- Oversee, supervise and audit work performed by subcontractors to meet Keolis standards as required.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors and other third parties to ensure service level requirements are maintained
- Supports the Keolis Warranty and Vandalism Processes for fixed facilities.
- Working with the Manager, Fixed Facilities to manage and administer performance and work order systems when snow and ice events transpire on the LRT System.
- Oversee day-to-day management of Keolis buildings and stops to ensure their efficient maintenance and repair.
- Identifies challenges to operational requirements for the maintenance department manages associated risk.
- Establishes strategies to manage assets (such as building and stops) to achieve the greatest efficiencies.
- Address and resolve with building related issues with internal and external parties.
- Monitors mechanical, electrical and energy conservation technologies.
- Managing the cleaning, servicing, inspection, maintenance, repair and emergency requirements in order to provide a safe, clean and reliable service to our customers.
- Monitor and resolve maintenance equipment and servicing issues, complete audits, identify and recommend improvements and implement change.
- Able to fill in for a Building, Structure and Stops Technician if required
- Assist in development and implementation of Maintenance procedures and work instructions .
- Record work completed and materials used in Maximo Work Order System.
- Conduct inventory checks and order equipment, materials, and supplies for Maintenance to support LRV Operations.
- Assist in reviewing all Maintenance expenditures, including subcontractors’ expenses.
- Will be expected to conduct fixed facilities or BSST work 25% of the time.
- Conduct all work in line with quality management expectations, as outlined in the relevant company directives and procedures.
