Role Overview
Pegasus is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Chief of Staff to support the CEO and leadership team in scaling operations and driving strategic initiatives. This high-impact role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about optimizing organizational performance. As Chief of Staff, you will drive strategic planning, oversee operational improvements, and serve as a key connector across teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution
- Translate high-level priorities into actionable plans and ensure execution.
- Monitor progress toward company goals and proactively address risks and roadblocks.
- Facilitate strategic planning, goal-setting, and milestone tracking across departments.
Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and communication to maximize efficiency.
- Manage resource planning and align team efforts with company priorities.
- Identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks to accelerate execution.
Performance & Accountability
- Lead performance management systems to reinforce accountability and results.
- Partner with the CEO to uphold company culture and values.
- Support HR in coaching leaders through performance gaps and team development.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Facilitate coordination and information sharing between departments.
- Support CEO and leadership team in meetings by preparing materials, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-ups.
- Guide alignment on key initiatives like product launches, partnerships, or investor activities.
Special Projects
- Own and execute high-priority, cross-functional projects that impact business growth and efficiency.
- Support the CEO in executing major initiatives, including funding rounds and new programs.
- Lead change management efforts as the company scales.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or strategic leadership (startup experience preferred).
- Proven ability to turn strategy into execution and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities; process-minded and results-focused.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels and functions.
- Experience with performance management and organizational development.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
