Frontline Machinery is a family-owned equipment dealership specializing in the sale and rental of equipment for aggregate crushing and screening, wood grinding, waste shredding, and volumetric measuring technology. We cover from BC to Ontario, including the Yukon and NWT.
We are looking for a Business Development Sales Support Representative to join our team.
Based in Chilliwack, BC and reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Business Development, the role of the Business Development Sales Support Representative to identify, qualify, and nurture potential clients to support overall sales pipeline growth.
This role involves both outbound prospecting and managing inbound sales inquiries, ensuring leads are captured, organized, and assigned efficiently. As the first point of contact for incoming calls, you’ll provide basic product or service information, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue opportunities through effective lead management and communication.
This is an in-office position based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. Applicants must reside in the province, have reliable commuting options, and hold legal authorization to work in Canada. Remote candidates are not being considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify prospective clients using CRM database, LinkedIn, and industry sources.
- Initiate outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, and social media to generate qualified leads.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality prospects.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and determine fit.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and lead status in CRM systems.
- Answer and respond to incoming sales inquiries (phone and online) promptly and professionally.
- Provide preliminary product or service information to customers, including general pricing, availability, and basic technical specs.
- Qualify leads and assign sales opportunities based on territory and product to the sales team.
- Accurately enter and maintain customer information, call notes, and activities into the company CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead handoff processes and ensure smooth customer transitions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, target markets, and customer segments to effectively support sales initiatives and strategic outreach.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a lead generation or business development role (preferably B2B)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with CRM platforms
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and resilience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Experience working in or selling to industrial, technology, or professional services sectors is an asset
