What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate dozers safely and efficiently for all phases of site work.
• Strip topsoil, rip hard ground, cut to fill, slope, place, and finish grade across varying terrain.
• Support lease building, reclamation, roadwork, pad prep, and erosion control scopes.
• Follow project grade plans, survey stakes, or GPS guidance as required.
• Assist ground crew where needed and help maintain site flow and equipment access.
• Complete daily machine inspections, logging any issues or service needs.
• Follow all Westcore safety policies, field-level hazard assessments, and client site rules.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years experience on dozers in civil construction, reclamation, or oilfield services.
• Confident in both bulk earthmoving and finish grading.
• Able to interpret grade specs, plans, and cut/fill requirements.
• Experience with winter works and soft ground an asset.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and pride in a clean, well-operated machine.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (clean abstract preferred).
• Safety tickets: CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II.
• Physically able to work long shifts (up to 12 hrs) outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb equipment safely, and shovel as needed.
• Must provide your own CSA-approved 6” lace-up work boots.
• Pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work test.
