Description

WHO YOU ARE:

We are looking for a Logistics coordinator to join our team! The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Transportation Management:
    • Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods, including arranging for carriers, booking shipments, and tracking deliveries.
    • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Process and track customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
    • Communicate with internal departments regarding order status and delivery schedules.
    • Resolve order-related issues and address shipper’s inquiries.
  • Problem Solving and Communication:
    • Proactively identify and resolve logistics challenges and delays.
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment status and potential issues.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and efficiency.
    • Implement best practices and streamline workflows.
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements.
What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, shipping procedures, and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in logistics software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international shipping practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, especially excel.
  • Experience with specific logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS).
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Available to work 5 days in the office per week.
