- Flexible working hours of 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday (i.e., 37.5 hours per week).
- Paid vacation starts at 4 weeks per year, and increases with years of service.

- We are searching for a permanent Manager, Finance to join our Finance team.
- PBC’s compensation program is built on a pay-for-performance philosophy, rewarding both individual and organizational achievements. The typical hiring range for this position is $107,200 - $130,000 per year, with the starting salary determined based on a combination of skills, education, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, you’ll be eligible for our annual bonus program.

Responsibilities
As the Manager, Finance, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting both internally and externally. Overseeing audits of the company’s financial statements and internal controls. Overseeing tax compliance and reporting.
- Leadership & Team Building: Provide strategic leadership to Finance team members, foster collaboration, and ensure effective staffing levels and team development.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure that the department’s workflow and initiatives align with the organization’s broader strategy. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to drive shared goals.
- Departmental Strategy and Operations: Develop and maintain procedures and workflows to meet strategic goals. Partners with Director, Finance to create tactical plans and departmental budgets.
- Process Improvement and Compliance: Researches and implements new technologies and best practices to increase efficiency. Ensures compliance with various taxation and regulatory reporting and remittance requirements.
- Customer and Internal Stakeholder Service: Manages difficult client or internal service issues and escalations. Promotes strong internal customer services and interdepartmental relationships.
- Project and Change Management: Leads projects from ideation to evaluation, including ROI analysis and implementation. Drives and manages change initiatives, ensuring engagement, communication, and support.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a major in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field including or supplemented by courses in leadership/supervision.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax principles and practices.
- 5 - 8 years of related experience in accounting.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership position.
- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Experience in Government and Regulatory filings.
