About The Role
Ecclesiastical Insurance Canada, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Operations Associate (Underwriting) to join our Central Region in our Toronto office.
About The Role
We are seeking an Operation Associate to join our National Data Support team. The successful candidate will provide data processing for the Strategic Accounts and National Programs division, reporting to the Director of Process & Data Operations. This role is crucial in processing and managing our data, while offering the opportunity to build internal relationships with underwriting experts and various functional areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Process underwriting transactions in the policy management system (i.e. new business, rewrites, renewals, endorsements) accurately and efficiently
- Support Underwriting and Claims with data entry tasks
- Validate and verify data against program and/or capacity parameters
- Communicate effectively with Underwriting and Claims to resolve inquiries
- Reconcile system data to certificates and policies to maintain or improve data integrity
- Maintain data in online portal & database to ensure smooth processing
- Meet month-end and year-end deadlines
- Provide ad-hoc activities and various underwriting support as required
- University degree or college diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrable organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Data entry experience is an asset
