Now Hiring: Accounting Specialist – AR, Reporting & Analysis | Markham, ON
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Markham. If you are detail-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key role in financial accuracy and reporting, we would like to meet you.
What You Will Do
- Process daily invoicing, upload invoices to customer portals, and support collections and AR reporting
- Set up and maintain customer accounts with accurate financial data
- Track and manage customer commissions and vendor rebate files
- Support month-end accruals and reconcile assigned GL accounts
- Assist the controller with financial analysis, including budget versus actuals and variance reports
- Contribute across the finance team as needed to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement
- 1–4 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong skills in Excel and experience with tools such as SAP, Sage, or Oracle
- Well-organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to handle confidential financial data with a high degree of accuracy
- Located in Markham with parking and transit access
- Collaborative and hands-on finance team that values accuracy and accountability
