Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant & Cleaning Attendant to join our team. This role supports both kitchen operations and general cleaning across resort premises, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and smooth back-of-house functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Support:
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food prep and cleaning tasks
Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean, organized, and hygienic
Dispose of kitchen waste and follow recycling procedures
Restock supplies as needed
General Cleaning Duties:
Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, and staff zones
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust public and back-of-house areas
Refill cleaning materials and maintain housekeeping supplies
Follow safety procedures for cleaning chemicals and tools
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus
Ability to handle physical tasks and work on your feet for extended periods
Good communication skills and team spirit
Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety protocols
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
