Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Hotel Bell Attendant to join our Guest Services team. As the first and last point of contact for guests, you play a key role in shaping their overall experience. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling luggage, assisting with transportation, and ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet arriving guests and offer assistance with luggage and personal belongings.
Escort guests to their rooms while providing hotel information and amenities overview.
Retrieve and store guest luggage safely and accurately in the luggage room.
Arrange transportation or valet services upon guest request.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and offer information about local attractions and hotel services.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, bell desk, and luggage storage areas.
Collaborate with front desk staff and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with deliveries, messages, and special guest requests.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and resort policies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar guest service or hotel role is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with Toronto city attractions and transportation options is a plus.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
