We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Cook to join our culinary team and help serve delicious meals during the overnight hours.

Job Summary:

As a Night Shift Cook at CEM Resorts, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for guests during the night shift, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards, and assisting in kitchen operations during non-peak hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals according to resort recipes and guest specifications

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment during the night shift

  • Monitor food stock and supplies; inform supervisor of shortages

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Ensure proper food storage and labeling practices

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff to meet overnight dining needs

  • Handle late-night room service orders with accuracy and efficiency

  • Assist in basic food prep for the next day’s service if needed

  • Report any equipment issues or kitchen maintenance needs

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a resort or hotel environment

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (Food Handler’s Certificate preferred)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills

  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

Shift Details:

  • Night Shift: Typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (subject to resort needs)

  • Full-time position; overtime may be required during peak season
