Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Optometrist at our office in Chippawa, Niagara Falls, ON. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating visual problems, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and providing expert advice to patients on eye care and general eye health. You will also collaborate with a team of opticians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry program
Valid license to practice optometry in the province of Ontario
Excellent knowledge and understanding of ocular anatomy, physiology, and diseases
Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and prescribing corrective lenses
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing and treating visual problems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to continuing education and staying up-to-date with advancements
