Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the expansion of clinical content within a Drug Information System (DIS), including additional medication details and relevant immunization administration information from community pharmacies.


Responsibilities:

• Document business user requirements.

• Document integration requirements that support meaningful use and flow of information between various Health Systems.

• Liaise with various Vendors (Pharmacy, etc) on the processes related to certification/conformance to support exiting and new vendor integrations with Health Systems.

• Lead / document deliverables such as:

• Information flow modelling

• Workflow and activity diagrams

• Context Diagrams

• Business and use case modelling

• Document Vendor Implementation Guide.

• Document workflow of specific operational processes for programs.

• Support vendor conformance testing.

• Work with SNB to support the development of support and implementation processes and technical when required.


Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a similar discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 10 years: Recent experience as a technical Business Analyst supporting both functional and technical design activities.

• 5 years: Recent experience working with HL7 messaging standards using HL7 V2, V3, and FHIR.

• 10 years: IM/IT experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Limit vendor submissions to 2.


Scored Requirements

• 5+ years: Experience as a lead business systems analyst in projects and operations work related to eHealth/digital health. Preference for experience in a Canadian jurisdiction.

• 5+ years: Experience facilitating sessions with clinical and non-clinical SMEs and stakeholders to gather clear business requirements.

• 7+ years: Experience documenting information flow modeling, workflow and activity diagrams, and business process flow diagrams.

• 3+ years: Experience documenting use cases, interoperability specifications, and implementation guides to meet business and technical requirements.

• 3+ years: Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements that meet HL7 messaging standards, preferably with HL7V3.

• Ability to travel for face-to-face meetings. Preference for candidates who can travel as required.

• Familiarity with data confidentiality and client privacy requirements related to NB’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
