Business Analyst - ERP

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Business Analyst to support a two-phase ERP consulting project. The Business Analyst will facilitate stakeholder workshops, document requirements, and assist with RFP development, reporting to the ERP Project Manager. The role is primarily remote, with in-person support at the client’s location, ensuring stakeholder engagement and alignment with project goals.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Co-facilitate stakeholder workshops with business functions (HR, payroll, procurement, asset management, customer service, community development) to gather requirements.
• Collaborate with the client’s internal project team to validate requirements and ensure alignment.
Requirements Documentation:
• Document and prioritize functional requirements based on stakeholder input and strategic priorities.
• Support development of a prioritized requirements list for leadership team review.
Risk and Deliverables:
• Contribute to the risk matrix, identifying stakeholder-related risks.
• Assist in synthesizing Phase 1 findings into strategic recommendations.
Phase 2 Support:
• Advise on RFP scope development and evaluation criteria, supporting the Project Manager and client’s procurement team.
• Contribute to the phased implementation roadmap, focusing on stakeholder needs and process integration.
Administrative Support:
• Manage workshop scheduling, documentation, and follow-up actions to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience:
• 6+ years in business analysis, with 2+ years in public sector or municipal ERP projects.
• Proven expertise in facilitating stakeholder workshops and documenting requirements.
• Experience supporting RFP development or procurement processes is an asset.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• IIBA Agile Analysis Certification or equivalent is an asset.
Skills:
• Strong facilitation skills for virtual and in-person workshops.
• Proficiency in requirements documentation and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams, Miro, and SharePoint.
• Basic understanding of public sector procurement processes.
