Minimum Qualification

  • Welding and mechanical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Maintain & operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Ability to work at heights when required
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lb
  • Team player with a focus on safet

Preferred Qualification

  • Front-end loader experience (Cat 980 or equivalent)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Flexible hours required

Day In The Life

As an Asphalt Plant Operator, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant, including operating equipment and loading scale trucks. Communicate directly with customers to take daily orders and coordinate closely with the asphalt plant superintendent to ensure consistent, high-quality production. You will also be performing routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, minor and major repairs, and maintain detailed inspection logs. Additionally, operate loaders to feed the plant as needed and able to manage inventory of maintenance components and parts. The operator will also support various other operational duties as required.
