Our 19,000 associates can count on competitive salaries, top-tier medical, dental, career training, and support for continued professional development.     Experience being part of a high-performing team with a fulfilling career in property management with FirstService Residential.     Job Overview:  The Leasing and Marketing Manager oversees a leasing and marketing team servicing a portfolio of investment properties.   They are responsible for supervising the leasing team and will be the final approver on residential leases.   They are responsible for supervising the rental marketing team including material created, tenant engagement events.     You are a people person with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for customer service.    Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of leasing assistants and marketing professionals ensuring the effective scheduling and management of deliverables to both operations and clients.
• Oversight of performance of leasing team members providing support and best practices to ensure continued success in filling building vacancies. 
• Engage with client to provide performance updates and recommendations to effectively reduce building vacancies while maintaining leading market rates. 
• Continually evaluate how we do business and champion ideas to create efficiencies. 
• This position will require weekend (Saturday & Sunday) as well, evening work.
• Respond professionally and timely to all tenants, prospects, and associates 
• Work with team members to provide input in creatives for advertising in digital and physical platforms.
• Supporting the team with and directing the team to maintain, measure and drive brand awareness through digital and physical mediums.
• Be able to track assess and measure statistics related to leasing, marketing to measure efficacy of campaigns.
• Create and present monthly marketing reports to client

• Additionally, perform other duties as needed within the division. 

  May be required to travel to Victoria, Nanaimo, Parksville and Campbell River as needed.    A valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance are requirements of the role.    This is not an all-inclusive job description and due to the nature of the position, some responsibilities may change to meet operational needs    Skills and Qualifications: 

• Licensed for Rental by the British Columbia Financial Safety Authority.
• 1-3 years of experience in residential property leasing, with outside clients, handling confidential information, multiple priorities and stringent deadlines is ideal.
• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of rental property management is an asset.
• The ability to prioritize work, communicate those priorities and deliver as promised are key qualities to succeed in this role.
• Advanced computer skills are essential (e.g. Microsoft Windows and Office suite), as well as strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent written English skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and search for solutions with minimal guidance.
