Position Overview: Compugen is looking for a Senior Power BI Solutions Analyst for a 6 month hybrid contract.

Position Overview: Compugen is looking for a Senior Power BI Solutions Analyst for a 6 month hybrid contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced Power BI and Paginated reports with a focus on accuracy, usability, and performance. Ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, working closely with data engineers and business analysts in the Microsoft Fabric environment.
- Consolidate and streamline overlapping report requests to reduce redundancy and improve reporting efficiency.
- Support guidance and adoption of Microsoft Fabric best practices in report building and data modeling to ensure efficient, maintainable solutions.
- Translate CRM data structures (i.e. ERDs) into structured and scalable data products.
- Build and manage reusable certified data models using Microsoft Fabric tools, including Dataflows, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, etc.
- Provide Power BI self-service tools training to enable independent data exploration for business users.
- Conduct workshops and develop documentation to support data literacy and empower end users.
- Support the reporting team to act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, helping them understand and extract value from reporting solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is often preferred for senior roles.
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Other relevant certifications in data analytics or cloud platforms are advantageous.
- Power BI Expertise:
- Advanced report and dashboard development.
- Data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Power Query (M language).
- SQL Proficiency:
- Strong ability to write complex queries for data extraction and transformation.
- ETL Tools:
- Experience with data integration and transformation tools.
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services):
- Ability to develop and maintain SSRS reports.
- Data Warehousing:
- Understanding of data architecture and warehousing concepts.
- Cloud Platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) are often a plus.
