We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Compensation & Rewards team as the Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design. In this role, you will take the lead in shaping and executing strategies and best practices related to compensation and organizational structure. We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Compensation & Rewards team as the Manager, Compensation & Organizational Design. In this role, you will take the lead in shaping and executing strategies and best practices related to compensation and organizational structure. This includes developing comprehensive frameworks, methodologies, and driving the implementation of compensation and OD initiatives. You will also be responsible for managing a talented team, including another manager, to ensure the successful delivery of these programs.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
- Acts as a trusted advisor to the business, providing expert guidance on a wide range of organizational solutions, including job analysis and design, organizational efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Ensures all compensation and organizational design initiatives are aligned with the business and people strategy to support desired outcomes.
- Supports the development and implementation of compensation programs, including salary administration policies, job evaluation practices, and market pricing methodology.
- Ensures compensation practices align with the organization’s total compensation philosophy and corporate objectives.
- Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of compensation and organizational design service delivery, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Leads process improvement efforts by streamlining workflows and re-engineering processes to optimize departmental performance.
- Collaborates with the Compensation and Organizational Design teams to maintain high-quality standards and identifies areas for continuous improvement.
- Responds to regulatory and administrative requirements, including government reporting, Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and collective bargaining mandate submissions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), GRP (Global Remuneration Professional), or organizational design credentials are considered strong assets.
- 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in compensation and organizational design, with a track record of identifying improvement opportunities and advising on strategies to enhance organizational efficiency.
- At least 5 years of experience leading teams in compensation and organizational design, collaborating with cross-functional HR experts, senior leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships across all levels of leadership.
- Skilled in critical thinking, problem-solving, and making sound, informed decisions.
- In-depth understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in large, complex environments—ideally within the public or broader public sector.
- Knowledge of project management principles, business planning, process optimization, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors is a valuable asset.
- Different combinations of relevant experience and education may be considered.
