Bilingual Sr. Business Development Specialist - Virtual

We are looking for a bilingual Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team and work with Fortune 500 corporate accounts and also develop new accounts. The successful candidate will need to be determined and results-driven to help small and medium-sized businesses improve their workflows and become more efficient. If you have the skills to meet these challenges, and want to be able to succeed freely both personally and professionally, then this could be the job for you!

To succeed in this position, you need to be :

  • Ambitious and a self-starter
  • Sociable and enjoy communicating with people
  • Disciplined when it comes to managing your time, assessing your priorities and achieving your goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and supporting existing commercial and corporate customers
  • Researching accounts, making outbound calls, and forecasting business opportunities
  • Coordination of pre and post sales support to customers in assigned territory
  • Completing sales documentation and facilitating delivery of products
  • Preparing and submitting internal reports and account profiles as required

To Succeed, You Will Need

  • College diploma (preferred, but not required)
  • Bilingual French/English
  • At least 2 years' relevant sales experience
  • Strong desire to win, to achieve goals and to be rewarded according to results
  • Ability to acquire new customers in a customer-focused environment
  • Entrepreneurial background, even having run a business during studies
  • Skills in cold calling and creating new business opportunities
  • Motivation, self-confidence and ability to work independently
  • Computer skills and working knowledge of a wide range of business programs
  • Dynamic personality capable of influencing and persuading interested parties

  • The Sr. Business Development Specialist is an outside face-to-face sales role. You will only report to the office if there is specific business need, such as training, team meetings, etc. (work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs)
