Agilus is recruiting for a Azure Red Hat OpenShift Analyst in the Utilities Sector in Calgary, Alberta.
The Azure Red Hat OpenShift Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) clusters in Azure. This is a new technology for the organization that is being introduced as part of the Maximo Application Suite project.

The Azure Red Hat OpenShift Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) clusters in Azure. This is a new technology for the organization that is being introduced as part of the Maximo Application Suite project.
A Typical Day
- Manage and maintain Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using OpenShift
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and optimize system performance
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for OpenShift and Azure environments
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Provide training and support to team members on OpenShift and Azure best practices
- Further develop and enforce standards for container orchestration and cloud resource management
- Expertise in Linux system administration
- Knowledge of the principles of IaC and use of common IaC tools (bicep, terraform, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and container orchestration
- Proficiency in managing Azure compute, storage, and network resources
- Experience in deploying and managing OpenShift clusters
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud native tooling
- Working knowledge of the function and operation of containers and peripheral knowledge of container development
- Familiarity with DevOps enabling tooling, such as CI/CD pipelines, VCS, Git, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to train and support team members
- 80-100 hourly depending on experience
- Hybrid working Schedule
