Job Title
Retail Associate
We’re looking for new talented individuals to join our growing team here at HAVEN Toronto. We are now hiring for both part-time and full-time Sales & Brand Representative positions for our HAVEN Toronto location.
Retail associates will be responsible for facilitating the completion of day-to-day operations in-store at HAVEN. Tasks will vary depending on where assistance is needed most. You will be expected to aid in all areas including retail sales, customer service, stock management and organization, and general in-store maintenance. You will work with other staff to ensure HAVEN continues to perform and serve at its optimal level delivering the highest quality retail experience.

Responsibilities
- Premium Customer Service: Deliver high-quality, personalized service to every customer, creating memorable experiences through empathy, attention to detail, and tailored recommendations.
- Sales & Performance Focus: Strive to meet and exceed individual and store sales goals. Guide customers toward complementary or higher-end pieces while maintaining a refined and non-pushy approach.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of HAVEN’s in-house line and multi-brand assortment—including fabrication, fit, craftsmanship, and brand heritage.
- Retail Metrics & Profitability: Understand and act on key performance indicators (KPIs) to help drive conversion, average transaction value, and overall store performance. Make strategic decisions with awareness of profitability.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns or operational issues professionally, efficiently, and with a solutions-first mindset.
- Effective Communication: Clearly communicate store policies, promotions, and product value to customers and fellow team members. Support team alignment and customer understanding through thoughtful and persuasive communication.
- Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation: Maintain a visually compelling and well-organized store environment. Ensure product displays meet merchandising standards and that all items are clean, steamed, and in premium condition.
- Inventory & Organization: Support inventory management including receiving, tagging, replenishment, and organization of stockroom and sales floor. Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.
- POS & Transaction Handling: Process sales, exchanges, and returns accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle all customer transactions with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and respectful team culture by contributing to smooth store operations and supporting colleagues.
- Security & Loss Prevention: Follow procedures to minimize shrinkage and maintain a secure environment for customers and staff.
- Personal Presentation: Represent the HAVEN brand through a polished, professional appearance that reflects the expectations of our premium clientele.
- Luxury Positioning & VIP Engagement: Demonstrate a strong understanding of luxury retail dynamics, HAVEN’s brand positioning, and how to build and maintain lasting relationships with VIP clientele.
- Previous retail sales experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in retail and customer service is an asset
- Strong understanding of HAVEN as a company and brand
- Familiarity with products and brands carried at HAVEN
- Detail-oriented
- Flexible schedule
- Interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Currently working toward or completed post-secondary education an asset.
