What You’ll Do:

As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for project contracts and subcontracts management from tender through execution and closeout. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading commercial strategy and oversight across multiple major projects
  • Managing risk and opportunity identification, mitigation planning, and implementation
  • Overseeing compliance with contract/subcontract terms, ensuring alignment with company policies
  • Supporting procurement in subcontract management
  • Leading change management activities and ensuring all modifications are captured and appropriately flowed through contracts
  • Developing and presenting claims in collaboration with project teams
  • Coordinating with project controls, estimating, planning, engineering, and construction disciplines to assess technical, schedule, and cost impacts
  • Facilitating resolution of contractual disputes and managing communications with clients and subcontractors

What We're Looking For:

We’re excited to meet candidates who have:

  • A strong educational or professional background in contract management, claims, and negotiations
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including lump sum, unit rate, and reimbursable contract types
  • Familiarity with commercial management certifications such as CCM, CCMA, CPP, or CPA (considered an asset)
  • Solid experience within the construction industry, including knowledge of construction project lifecycles and stakeholder interactions
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
