Introduction
The Junior Business Systems Developer contributes to the overall success of the National Sales Management team in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role you will:
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Support the design, development and maintenance of internal applications and tools and assist with automating manual processes using C#, VBA and SQL.
- Learn and adapt to the internal toolsets, data structures and business processes and contribute to enhancements and bug fixes on existing Excel and Access-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver technical solutions
- Write and optimize queries to extract, transform and analyze financial data from various data sources.
- Participate in testing, documentation and deployment of applications and automation workflows.
We’d love to work with you if you have:
- A Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, or Java).
- Familiarity with relational databases and writing basic SQL queries.
- Exposure to Excel, VBA, or data automation is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
