As a Software Engineer I TQA, you will be responsible for hands-on testing across connected devices and platforms to ensure high-quality streaming experiences. This role involves functional validation, automation efforts under the guidance of senior engineers and QA leads.

About the Role:
As a Software Engineer I TQA, you will be responsible for hands-on testing across connected devices and platforms to ensure high-quality streaming experiences. This role involves functional validation, automation efforts under the guidance of senior engineers and QA leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on functional testing across mobile apps, smart TVs, and streaming devices (e.g., Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV).
- Validate video playback, streaming protocols, and digital rights management (DRM) technologies (HLS, DASH, Widevine, FairPlay).
- Use tools like Charles Proxy, ADB, and browser Developer Tools to inspect and debug streaming behavior.
- Assist in writing and maintaining basic automation scripts (Testim.io, Selenium, Appium).
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and report bugs clearly.
- Participate in QA reviews and help track issues to resolution.
- Support device lab testing and contribute to best practice documentation.

- 1–2 years of software testing experience or co-op/internship in QA or related role (new grads welcome with relevant experience).
- Familiarity with streaming apps or video playback testing is a plus.
- Exposure to test automation tools (Testim.io, Selenium, or similar).
- Basic understanding of web and mobile app behaviors.
- Comfortable using tools like Charles Proxy, ADB, and browser dev tools for inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
