Our Sunrise Wind Project team is now looking for an Offshore EIT (Electrical, Instrument, Telecoms) Lead.
This position will be based in our St. John's office with possible business trips to Aker Solutions fabrication yards in Norway and eventually transition to Offshore New York (Long Island) for the completion of the Sunrise HVDC hook-up project scope.

Eligibility to work in Canada

What will you be doing?
- Execute and manage electrical, instrumentation and telecoms discipline personnel and tasks associated with the successful execution of discipline specific scope of work.
- Manage offshore craft labour and subcontractors for electrical, instrumentation and telecoms activities.
- Focus on and contribute to a strong safety and quality mindset within the discipline.
- Supervises and mentors field personnel, conduct effective safety meetings, ensure established processes and policies are communicated and adhered.
- Investigates and resolves personnel issues with assistance from others as required.
- Prepare necessary permits to work and supporting documentation as per Client’s work management system.
- Liaise with corresponding client discipline and commissioning personnel, as required.
- Input to Offshore Lead for daily reporting requirements
- Identification, follow up and resolution of field technical queries.
- Mechanical completion management and coordination of MC walkdown’s
- Field as-building and redlining of documentation.
- Technical diploma or Trade certification in related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have Offshore Construction Supervisory experience.
- Must complete mandatory safety training and meet the qualifications required for work offshore.
- Must have a solid understanding of safety and offshore industry regulations.
