In this role, you will be at the heart of designing, developing, and configuring complex Guidewire solutions. Your technical expertise and leadership will play a key role in supporting the team and mentoring junior developers while delivering robust solutions for the property and casualty insurance sector.

About The Position

Your technical expertise and leadership will play a key role in supporting the team and mentoring junior developers while delivering robust solutions for the property and casualty insurance sector.
Requirements And Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 9 years of proven experience in Guidewire application development
- Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter configuration (a plus)
- Strong skills in GOSU language and experience using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and predefined plugins
- Proficiency in Agile software development using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Solid understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance domain
- Guidewire Cloud Certification is required
- 7 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire development
- 7 years of experience coding RESTful APIs
- Analyze software requirements efficiently
- Design system architecture and technical documentation
- Define screens, business rules, and workflow updates
- Write, configure, package, and deploy Guidewire code
- Implement and maintain coding standards
- Perform unit testing and debugging
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth
- Develop robust solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements
- Provide technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle
- Support and guide junior team members
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Ability to read and reverse-engineer code in other languages
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
