MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Serve as a financial advisor to the President and the executive team;
  • Translate financial data into actionable strategies to drive growth and profitability;
  • Ensure rigorous cash flow management;
  • Maintain and develop strong banking relationships;
  • Lead financing initiatives (debt and/or equity);
  • Oversee all accounting and financial functions;
  • Lead the monthly and annual closing processes and ensure the accuracy of financial statements;
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis;
  • Ensure the accuracy of cost of goods sold calculations, margin analysis, and inventory valuation;
  • Provide analyses to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency;
  • Lead and develop the finance team;
  • Structure a high-performing finance function with scalable processes;
  • Leverage business intelligence tools to generate reports, dashboards, and performance indicators;
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization;
  • Support the launch and growth of the new e-commerce platform;
  • Ensure rigorous tracking of online revenue, logistics costs, and digital ROI.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • CPA designation or equivalent required; MBA or Master’s in Finance is a significant asset;
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector;
  • Proven experience in managing banking relationships and financing (debt or equity);
  • Proficiency in cash management, costing, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents);
  • Strong business acumen – ability to understand operations and contribute beyond finance.;
  • Experience supporting e-commerce initiatives is a significant asset;
  • Bilingualism in English and French required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Permanent, full-time position;
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week;
