As a Project Manager your key accountabilities will involve:
As a Project Manager your key accountabilities will involve:
- Reviewing documents, project drawings, contracts, and specifications in detail and informing the appropriate team about potential issues or conflicts.
- Planning and managing daily operations and construction schedules while monitoring project progress.
- Monitoring expenditures effectively, reviewing invoices in detail, and managing labour and material costs according to the project budget and underlying estimate.
- Preparing contracts and confidently negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
- Liaising with the project team, clients, consultants and sub-contractors.
- Training and mentoring Project Coordinators.
- 3-5 years of construction management experience, preferably with a general contractor.
- Experience managing projects valued at over $30 million.
- Experience with commercial, multi-family residential, and industrial construction.
- Post-secondary education in Construction or Project Management.
