We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Broadcast Finance team. This position reports to the Broadcast Controller.

Your day-to-day
- Prepare, coordinate and oversee month-ends and accounting cycle
- Prepare month-end transactions and prepare month-end financial analyses (monthly income statement analyses)
- Support technician, analyst and AR specialist in analysis and estimates files
- Prepare supporting documentation for monthly financial statements (including supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts)
- Review music rights reports, consumption taxes, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, intercompany transactions, commission reports, and foreign exchange rate revaluations
- Support the preparation of the annual audit
- Prepare analysis for various ad hoc projects and other financial requests
- Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures
- Bilingual, French-speaking environment, 50% of the role is in English
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field with a concentration in accounting
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of the Netsuite software
- Previous experience at a “Big 4” accounting firm
