Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Authority with proven experience in implementing and managing electrical safety protocols on industrial projects. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring compliance with LOTO procedures, fostering a culture of safety, and working closely with teams to minimize risks associated with electrical systems. You’ll bring your expertise to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Allnorth’s commitment to excellence.

A Day in the Life

As an Electrical LOTO Authority, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and managing electrical LOTO programs to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conducting risk assessments and hazard analysis to identify potential electrical hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Training and mentoring teams on LOTO procedures, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Auditing and inspecting job sites to verify compliance with LOTO standards and addressing any deviations.
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and electricians to integrate LOTO protocols seamlessly into project workflows.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including permits, LOTO logs, and safety compliance reports.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical safety issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and continuously improve LOTO procedures and practices.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

To Excel In This Position, You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing electrical LOTO programs in an industrial setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively train and guide teams.
  • Certification in electrical safety or related fields (e.g., Journeyman Electrician Certification, Red Seal Certification, or equivalent).
  • Experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard analysis.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
