Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for Radio Systems Engineer to join our winning team where you will have a chance to innovate, grow and to do what really matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for radio system design and performance of GSM/UMTS/LTE and NR technology, includes strong understanding AMOS Ericsson scripting Responsible for defining site parameters in CIQ/RNDs and BTUs.
  • Use network performance tool to analyze network stats and pinpoint performance issues of wireless network
  • Strong understanding of ISED Health Canada SC6 requirements
  • Statistical analysis, automation of tools and report generation
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders from other engineering disciplines and Regulatory groups
  • Work effectively with equipment and service vendors and provide executive level professional presentations of engineering results and recommendations

What You Bring

  • Engineering undergraduate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications or related field required.
  • Work experience in wireless telecommunications industry preferred.
  • Canadian Professional Engineering designation preferred .
  • Must be eligible to register as an EIT or P.Eng. with EGBC/APEGA

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of radio propagation principles for wireless spectrum
  • Strong understanding LTE/NR network parameters
  • Knowledge of Ericsson RAN and OSS systems
  • Proficiency with site audits reviews for Health Canada SC6 guidelines
  • Proficiency with Planet RF tool
  • Proficiency with Rogers ADM tool and Site Audit Report
  • Strong theoretical understanding of Tx/Rx Radio and Antenna system design
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (VBA), MS Access, Python (or equivalent for automation) an asset

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.
